The location by the beach was wonderful and the patio garden was great.
No cell phone service and the phone in my room didn't work-turned out it wasn't plugged in properly.

The Sea Otter Inn is very convenient to the beach, and is run by a friendly staff. The continental breakfast in the office was very good. My room was quiet and comfortable, with a nice down comforter on the bed. ...read more

Great location; flowers were beautiful and great breakfasts.

The landscaping was beautiful; the room's furnishing were not pretty but the rooms were adequate; the aged & stained carpets were a turnoff; the shower was disappointing. There was so much air and so little water coming from the shower head, you couldn't wash soap off. It was a close walk to a great restaurant; the breakfasts were great with a big selection. It was nice to sit outside on the chairs and eat breakfast and enjoy the ocean view. ...read more

Nice location on Moonstone Beach, well maintained, beautiful gardens, nice breakfast, fireplace in the room.
Rooms could use some updating, bathroom was a little dated.

All in all, great location, hotel well-maintained, staff was personable and helpful. Breakfast was available in the lobby to take back to the room. Gardens on the property were lovely. Great location on Moonstone Beach, able to walk to some local restaurants. Good value. ...read more

The easy access to the beach and Highway 1.
A nice restaurant close by.

Was a nice hotel. Great location. Rooms were excellent with fireplace, although a gas one. Not a true fire place.

Location.
Restaurant not part of hotel. Patio looked into flood channel. Did not look at the ocean.

The info for this hotel sounded like a dream, I sure am glad that I like to walk. Continental breakfast was less food than a soup kitchen. If you are one minute late you will only have bad left over.
